The ATP-20 All Terrain Conveyor

Material Placement

The ATP-20 All Terrain Conveyor by Conveyor Application Systems LLC (CAS) is the latest technology in Conveyor Aggregate Delivery (CAD) equipment.

Rock ... In Place has added this unit in order to better serve you and our customers throughout the Northwest. We have been very pleased with the ATP-20's production capabilities and efficiency.

It's our goal not only to provide the CAD services for your projects, but also to take care of the fine grading and compaction of material, allowing you to focus on more profitable tasks. We also can provide a hard bid for your next project — per SQ FT, per CY or lump sum. This enables you to more accurately bid. [See Rock ... In Place projects in action]

Some of the benefits realized from these Building Construction services are:

  • Interior grades can be left low to allow electricians to install secondary electrical conduits before sub-grade gravel is placed. This eliminates the need to "scratch" conduits in to sub-grade gravel.
  • Utility stub-ups are not damaged trying to maneuver equipment around them while placing gravel.
  • No damage to shallow conduits or plumbing by equipment driving repeatedly over them.
  • Thick end footings can be marked out and gravel can be thrown around them, eliminating the need to come back and dig them after the slab prep is finished.
  • Overall project time is shortened since electricians and plumbers can install utilities quickly and don't have to spend time trying to clean up the subgrade.
  • Placement of gravel in the interior of the building proceeds much faster.
  • Perhaps the most important benefit: limiting equipment traffic in tight areas improves safety on site.

Trying to place bedding over utility conduits at a consistent depth in hard-to-reach locations is frustrating even to the best operator. The ATP-20 not only saves you money by increasing production, but it also decreases the amount of gravel normally used. This is because the bedding material is placed in the right place the first time, resulting in a substantial labor savings as well.
